Rocco Berardi

Personal History: Born in the lovely town of Southern Italy by the name of Ruvo Di Puglia, Rocco studied and graduated from the Instituto Technico Industriale "Montani Di Fermo" with a degree in Electronics. Rocco arrived in Staten Island in 1970 and began his career with MetLife in 1972. By 1994 he was inducted into the MetLife Hall of Fame. He has received numerous awards for his many accomplishments with the company including being inducted into MetLife's Top of the Tower in 2008.

Rocco has been married to his wife Carol since 1972, and have three daughters together, Sandra, Giovanna, and Adriana. They are also proud grandparents to 8 grandchildren.

Community Involvement: Rocco is an active member of the Italian Club of Staten Island Foundation and was honored as Man of the Year in 2007. Rocco's other community involvements include; Friends of the College of Staten Island and the Gateway Rotary. He's also a member of the Advisory Board of the Skylight Center.
